Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Meals on Wheels.  You don't need a special skill set, just the desire to make a difference.  Our current opportunities are listed below.  If you would like to get started, please complete our new volunteer application.

Current Opportunities:

​

Route Drivers - Deliver meals to clients, volunteers select one of eleven routes throughout Hendricks County.  Weekday availability from 11am - 1pm during the week is required.  We ask all drivers to drive a minimum of one route each month.

Outreach Volunteers - Volunteer at community booths to help spread the word about our services.  These take place at various times and locations.

Connection Calls - Call our homebound clients and have a conversation, it sounds simple, but it really makes a big difference.

​

Bag Decorators - All of our hot meals come with a brown bag that includes a beverage and cold side dishes.  Our clients love to receive decorated bags.  This is a great opportunity for a group of students.  Please email HRHMOW@hendricks.org for information on this project.

All of the above opportunities require as little as 2 hours a month!
